From the natural instincts of a dog to dig where it smells goodness comes our famous Black Dog Tomato Relish.

Tia is our daughter’s dog, a curious blend of breeds Tia found odorous and welcoming fragrances coming from deep within the earth. Unfortunately that very earth was underneath my healthy and robust tomato plants.

Dogs, being a pack animal, like to do everything together, and in a canine bonding experience like no other Tia, Fergus and Muffin tore through the vegetable garden uprooting my tomato plants one after another.
